Urban Landscape- Depicting War

Whether you like it or not, art and warfare go great together. How so? War is the most destructive activity known to humanity, its purpose is to use violence to compel opponents to submit and surrender. Art, however is beautiful, emotional and compels people to express acceptance and unity.   So how does art come in the picture? (no pun intended). Art has always been a tool in difficult times; depicting the inhumanity of war as well as being a product of propaganda. Without art no human others than soldiers would see the atrocities that come with war and the affect it has on the world. The picture above is quite childish compared to other artworks of war but at the same time charming to look at. With the picture sharpened, it made it difficult to see obvious blemishes in the image that might give the picture a dull, unfinished look. It was also enhanced as well to see the coloring of both the horse and the young soldier better. It was also brighten so you can see the overall picture clearly. It also has a widening shot, to allow other objects to interact with it. That is why the door is included in the shot so it would make sense to know where exactly he is charging towards.

If you look at the picture for a long time, you  might notice a hue of pink and red surrounding both the horse and soldier. I included a filter to give it an offset color making the entire image pinkish.
